YOU CAN CHECK ONLINE ON USCIS WEBSITE

When you submit an application, usually the USCIS website will let you know the following: “Next step is your interview”

unfortunately, it does not give a specific date, and currently, it can range from several weeks to much more time.

If the case status says: “An interview has been scheduled” that is great news and you will receive by mail the exact date of your interview. Usually, there is at least three weeks’ notice to give you a chance to review and prepare.

• Call 1-800-898-7180

• English information will be first, followed by Spanish

• To proceed in English, press 1

• To proceed in Spanish, press 2

• After pressing 1 or 2, enter your A number

  • If your A number is 9 digits, enter the 9 numbers after the prompt ( Just put the numbers not the letter A)

  • If your A number is 8 digits, enter “0” after the prompt then the 8 numbers, do not put the letter A
