Food (Nouriture)

There are many places where you can get free food called "food pantries." You can identify one close to where you live through the website: www.FoodPantries.org

RIF recommends St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Harlem, Manhattan. St. Mary's has a food pantry every Monday from 4pm to 6pm.

You can also come for movie night and a free hot meal every Friday at 6pm.

Address: 521 W. 126th St. in Manhattan

Directions: Take the A, B, C, or D train to 125th St. stop. Walk north on St. Nicholas Ave. Turn left on 126th St. Continue for over 2 blocks until you reach the church #521.

Riverside Church also has a food pantry in Manhattan on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30am to 1pm.

Address: 490 Riverside Drive and 122nd St. in Manhattan

Directions: Take A, B, C, or D train to 125th St. stop Walk west to Riverside Drive, turn left (south) and continue to #490.

Or take the 1 train to 116 St. Station - Columbia University stop. Walk west to Riverside Drive, turn right (north) and continue to #490.
